when worlds end
new ones begin.
the seattle cohost wake was last night and it was magical. almost 70 people showed up, and we all shouted "eggbug forever", and had a moment of silence, and met people and chatted and made new friends. and there was a rainbow.
i finally got to talk to nat (who has a better blog post on the wake), and, starstruck, immediately tumbled into a snowball of social awkwardness and saying things wrong. i mean, this is the person who made Sass. not to mention how just the act of organizing something like this is so amazing to me.
she and rose also set up a mailing list for future seattle events, and i'm not-not-seriously considering making a art meet up! it could just be meeting in a coffee shop somewhere, i'll bring paper and supplies, and we all just doodle to a theme. maybe one day...
